Microbium – ETC XS Lab

The Microbium® ETC Analyzer, developed under the ETC XS LAB – Zero Waste in Wastewater project, is an innovative device for automated detection and quantification of Enterococcus sp. in various water sources, including wastewater, drinking water, and recreational water. Designed for multiple uses, it enhances efficiency with system automation and remote data access while significantly reducing plastic waste by over 60%. The project started on December 1, 2023, and will run for 24 months. The total project value is €542,000, with co-funding of €299,970. Of which, approximately €71,000 is allocated to Workroom Plastic. This investment is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and is part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (www.noo.gov.si).
